Why short moves work differently
On a long move, truck size is a hard ceiling — whatever doesn't fit gets left behind or needs a second vehicle. On a four minute run across the inner west, it isn't a ceiling at all. It's just another trip.
Capacity stops being the question. Under 15 minutes between addresses, a second or third trip is straightforward.
You pay in hours, not in trucks. Extra trips add time to the booking — usually cheaper than putting on a second vehicle.
Move in stages if it suits. Some people send the garage and shed first, then the house. Your call.
For longer moves, a second truck. If you're heading well out of the area, four movers and two trucks is the better answer.

Rates shown are for local moves with two movers. Extra trips are charged as additional hours at the same rate. Extra crew for heavy items is quoted separately. Interstate is a fixed price per cubic metre.
